WALLS TUMBLING DOWN...
March 1, Thursday, 2012
I started putting my hands on walls to balance. Just to use the bath room. Early in the morning I’d call for my father’s help to the bathroom. He would stand in front of me, I would put my arms on his shoulders and hands clasped in front of him. And he’d bring me to the bathroom. My Mother was right behind to pull my pants and underwear down. Going back was the same in reverse.
One night I had…to go really really bad. I did not want to wake my parents. I thought I can do this myself.[little Miss independent] I scooted to the end of the bed, I wasn’t too far from the doorway, or hallway or the bathroom. I was standing, I had to make it to the doorway…just a few steps…MADE IT. My hands gripping the doorway, now to the hallway. I used my hands on the walls to balance, my Mother had this shelf thing in the corner [5 or 6 shelves] CRASH!!! It came tumbling down as well as me. [fall # 1]
